 Explore Fragile Maps Online
More than 1,000 rare and fragile maps of early Oklahoma and Indian Territory are accessible online thanks to a donation from the McCasland Foundation to the Edmon Low Library. The McCasland Digital Collection of Early Oklahoma and Indian Territory Maps are among the earliest official documents produced by the U.S. government and are of great interest to scholars and genealogists.

Literary Treasure
Not only has Tulsa author Michael Wallis donated his unique collection of literary manuscripts, photographs and other materials to the OSU-Tulsa Library, now he’s helping the library put it online for researchers worldwide.
After winning the 2007 Headliner award from the Tulsa Press Club, Wallis designated proceeds from the club’s annual event to benefit the library’s Special Collections Department, which plans to use the donation to digitize a portion of his donation.
The Michael Wallis Collection at the OSU-Tulsa Library includes literary manuscripts, photographs, correspondence, and book and movie promotional materials, as well as the three-time Pulitzer Prize nominee’s extensive Route 66 collection of aged maps, tourist brochures, postcards, photos and memorabilia celebrating the legendary highway.
